Finally got an owl from Dad yesterday. The burns are pretty bad he says, but he's confident they'll heal soon. Still refusing to go to a Healer, like a damn idiot.
But I guess that's not what's really bothering me. I'm just not getting any better. I'm doing everything Chase is telling me to do, but I know that I'm not getting better. I can see it on his face and I can see it on the charts. I should stop holding him back and let him practice at full strength with someone who can actually help him get a chance to play pro.

You can now add knight in shining armor to my list of accomplishments. Yes, it does feel quite wonderful to be a hero. Though I do feel kind of awkward about essentially being a mass murderer.... Sorry Jonah, guess my karma's gonna suck for a while.

In other news, being back in the great land of Canada meant that I got to play the best muggle sport every day of the week. Yes, of course I mean hockey. And Ri brought up the good point of trying to set up teams here, since we've clearly got enough people. So, anyone know how to play? Or want to learn?
